Subscriptions
@LectumBot allows you to subscribe to private channels registered in our catalogue. Channels are added and managed by their owners. We manage only payments and make sure that you get messages from the subscribed channels during the subscription period.
How does it work?
- You get a special subscription link. You can get it directly from a channel owner or find it in a public space. Subscription link allows subscribing to one certain channel.
- Once you follow this subscription link you can see channel details like its name, description and monthly price. The subscription is not activated yet.
- To activate a subscription choose a period (normally 1 or 3 months). The bot gives you information on the price and the payment instructions.
- Once you made payment according to the instructions, it needs some time for the transaction to complete. Please note that it may take some time before your payment reaches us (normally it happens within an hour).
- After you’ve received a confirmation message from the bot, your subscription is active. From that moment, depending on the type of the channel, you will start receiving all new posts from the bot or will be invited to join the channel itself. If you are receiving the posts from the bot they will be forwarded to the same chat you use for communication with the bot. If you are subscribed to several channels, you will have one united feed for all of them. After your subscription expires you won`t get posts anymore or will be kicked from the channel.
- One day before your subscription expires you will receive a notification.
@LectumBot is not responsible for a case when a channel owner stops writing to the channel or deletes the channel from our registry, even when your subscription is paid and is still active. You may contact the channel owner directly, not through the bot.
